The JAM Brands always strive to hire and maintain the most respected and unbiased judges in the industry.  Who we hire to judge our events directly affects our customers.  We take this responsibility very seriously as it is absolutely a key to our success as event producers.  Because our success hinges on the accuracy of our judges, we have created this C.O.D.E. of ethics and responsibilities to insure we continue to produce fair and consistent results; no matter what JAM Brands event you choose to attend. We believe that this C.O.D.E. can be broken down into the following four categories:

Consistency
In 2009 we created the first ever unified scoring system to be used at all JAM Brand events. The scoring grids and score sheets are now 100% identical across all JAM Brands which will allow judges to become true experts on our system.  Because of this unified system, it is our expectation that the scores produced at every event will be consistent and accurate across all JAM Brand events regardless of their location or date.

Objectivity
The JAM Brands believe that the best judges in the industry are those who bear a true love for the sport and the athletes who participate in it.  We expect our judges to come to the scoring table with a desire to see the best performance win.  We want our judges to watch every routine with an objective eye, leaving all pre-conceived notions at the door.  The teams who attend JAM Brand events all deserve an equal shot, and we rely on our judges to score each one objectively to make that happen.

Dedication 
We have dedicated countless hours preparing our scoring guidelines so that our end product is of high quality, and our customers will leave satisfied.  Because judging and scoring can have a major impact on a customer’s experience, we are constantly working to identify and hire qualified, dedicated judges.  We expect our judges to dedicate ample time prior to the events to learn and understand every aspect of our unique score sheets, scoring grids, rules and regulations.

Education
Training and education are key elements in creating consistent, objective, dedicated judges.  That is why we certify every single judge through a series of video training sessions and testing prior to putting them on any panel.  Our goal is that this pre-event training and testing will ensure that our judges are knowledgeable in all aspects of our scoring grid before they judge their first event.  We also keep our judges updated from week to week with any breaking industry news, or specific JAM Brand updates that will affect our scoring system.
